84 T-Bird TC in WA July 16, 2009, 07:37:12 PM Howdy guys. So I bought this 84 TC waaay back when. It was going to be the recipient of a 5.0/5 spd swap to have a fun play car; but then I started auto-crossing and my priorities have shifted. I'm afraid that I'll never make it around to the poor old girl before the earth tries to reclaim her, so I've decided to sell her off, or part her out if nobody wants the whole car.So with out further adu,For Sale, 1 1984 Thunderbird TurboCoupe 5 speed with lots of spares, $500 bucks. Located in Bellingham, WA, USAThis is the perfect car to do an engine swap into because there is no engine, and the brakes are probably frozen from sitting so long, but everything else is in fairly good shape. There is some minor surface rust on the paint, but I haven't seen any real rust to be concerned of. Power driver's seat and a leather interior that is very worn, but with an un-cracked dash pad. py 3 tone paint though, black/dark blue/ silver from top to bottom. (No it didn't paint it lol)Also, did I mention there is a TON of spare parts? Thats right, easily 500 bucks worth of spares. Fenders, doors, glass, seats, interior bits, radiators, driveshafts, trim pieces, even a spare gas tank; you name it, I've probably got it. Not 84 thunderbird specific, some is 87-88 stuff. And for any one who wants to make me REALLY happy, I'll sell you the 302 and v8 t5 that was originally intended for the project. The 302 is out of an 84 LTD I believe, its definitely a standard output engine. Needs cleaning and is disassembled, unless I get around to it before you buy it, but comes with a bumpy cam (specs available on request), new OE heads with oversized valves, new water pump, new oil pump, new gaskets, new rockers, new clutch, and an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Basically, nearly everything you would need to reassemble the engine after its cleaned and checked over. I'm not really looking to sell the engine and tranny, but everybody has their price. Now, if anybody wants parts, I'm willing to part her out too if I don't get any offers for the whole car, say by around mid-August? I figure if the car isn't worth anything to people, then maybe she can donate herself to keeping others on the road. Let me know what you want, and I'll see about getting it to you. I'll ship if ness, but you'll have to pay for shipping before hand; I'll give you a quote prior to. Do prefer local pick-up though ;)So that's about it. Questions, comments, concerns, email me at thundercougarfalcongoat at hotmail dot comPics are available on request, and I'll be posting them up here shortly. Thanks Quote Selected
