dunno, i had to beat the tunnel on my fox to get a c-6 to fit and clear the headers.  this musta been a bitch to do.

Probably wasn't that bad. Never measured one but I hear the 460 is not as wide as the DOHC they 'stuffed' in the Mark VIII. I *know* that fit is tight... my knuckles have the scars to prove it.

If anyone is really interested in this one let me know and I'll go get you some more pictures and a report. It's local for me.

bet the motor alone is worth close to that......unless its bone stock with some little dress up stuff...

I was thinking the transmission.  Getting it to mount to a 460 is the easy part.  I'd love to see the tunnel and the mount points.

The car is UGLY :mullet:
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

Yeah, I bet its been cut to open enough, i couldnt imagine stuffing my bb into one of those things......they feel too small for such big power,....

Kinda hard to tell from the small pics (Ughh @ craigslist for that)
but are those steel wheels? :hick:

Would be cool to see what the engine looks like...well, the part that you CAN'T see above the hood! :rollin:

I disagree. They can be made to look good, this guy obviously just didn't do it. He uglified it. The cowl hood is atrocious. The tuner wing is stupid. The motor may be worth it, but I would definitly ditch the body. Paint is ugly as  too.
