81 Thunderbird September 29, 2009, 02:43:33 AM Some of you have seen my other thread about me getting a good deal on this car but i figure i'll post up a pic thread about it. Its a base model 1981 thunderbird 3.3 straight 6, no cruise or pw, pl and has only an AM radio only option it has is AC. I am the 3rd owner of it now. I have a perverted affinity for these squared cars, I guess because it respresents an extreme and goes completely against the shapes we see so common today. You are fortunate to find one without a vinyl roof. They look so clean without one. It's kinda neat to see the contrast bewteen your black Box Bird vs. my black Aero Bird. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.I am trying to remember if the Box Birds have taillamps that light up full or just on the ends.
