You know where it went, Scott. Politics are not permitted here. I think we may have pointed that out before. Repeatedly.

And no, I did not delete it, I just saw that somebody else did. Much as I'm guessing he'll delete this one too.

you know,, i take that strait to hell for ya man.  I asked the question in a genuine manner because you would not have had a clue the situation i was in when i posted it.

take a look at my login time stamp,, my post time stamp, then my log off.  I was questioning if i even made the post or not sucessfully

I had to do it then run.  too many of you think people are playin stupid lately.  I was certain a situation / repeat of 1979 would be in good stewardship of me to share it since it was hot off the press with the delay experienced by 8 hours of international lag time.  No one at Biloxi MS airport security was aware of it nor was it front line news that am.

I was pretty sure i clicked submit.,, i had to check here and wait for a mod to say one of two things.  I have my answer.

thank you very much

You're right, we have no clue the situation you were in when you posted it. The new board software did not include a "check this guy's situation before deleting post" button, and our mind-reading software is non-functional. Truthfully, I still have no idea what you're talking about. All I know is that you posted a thread that appeared political, with no explanation whatsoever about any "situations" you were in, and a moderator deleted it.

Similarly, I typed my response to your question last night at 1:00AM, still with no knowledge about any situations you were in. My knowledge at that point was that you posted a political thread, it got deleted, then you made a post wondering where it went. I told you why.

Thanks for the replies,, you dont have to which i realize.

To whom deleted my post,, its your choice.  I do however think that a pm would have suplmented in preventing resentment over the fact it was done especially due to its nature and my good intent.

The thread was not political,, thats why i cant figure out why it was deleted.

The structure of the post was:

subj: 1979

body of message:
We have american hostages in Iran again, need i say more.

I have had three threads locked and one deleted this year alone without any adverse interaction on my part.
To further prove one of you decides to single me out and make constant examples out of me would be the fact this thread is created within 36 hours after my above thread structure was deleted>>

as you can see RFB, i have cleaned up my house a little bit.

I was the "coward" who deleted it.

Your post WAS political, and the actual text was as follows...

hostages in iran,, need i say more.

"we will sit down and have a talk with Iran"

Tell me that's not how it was intended.  First part, fine...public-interest news flash.  The obvious commentary after it was what got it deleted.

There is no need for me to PM anyone about deleting a post that what I feel, as a moderator, is inappropriate for the forum.  There are 3 admins who can override me if they choose to do so.

I would have deleted it no matter WHO posted it, so don't play it like you're being singled out.  As far as that other thread goes, I hadn't seen it yet and probably wouldn't of even ventured into it unless it was pointed out.  However, I had a pretty good idea what your thread was going to be when I happened to click on it.  I did think that maybe it perhaps could have been a nostalgia post, you know, 30 years and all that rot, but as soon as I read it I knew the slant of it and deleted it.

It's nothing personal from my end.
