Explorer Intake and 30lb Injectors

I have all the parts for and HO conversion.

Cam
GT40P heads
Explorer Intake Upper and Lower
HO Computer
New Water Pump
New Double Roller Timing Chain
New 155 LPH Fuel Pump.
I have 14lb, 19lb and 30lb (I have 2 full sets of 30 1 Set is for sell) injectors

Ok my question is before I get started with all this. What needs to be done to the Intake to get it to work or will it bolt on. Any sensors need to be changed?

Also I have other mods to be done at the same time. Would I need to get the computer chipped to run the 30lb injectors?

Depending on what other mods you are doing, the 30lb.'ers may be a little much. May be a good idea to list them (other mods) as well.

Well it's being build right now but slowly and as I have the extra money. But I'm putting together a 347 stoker.

Are the items you listed above going on a stock stroke 302 or are you saving them for the 347?  If the latter, you will be happier with bigger heads IMO.

When you say "cam" which one do you mean?  H.O?  Explorer?  Other?

The lower intake may need drilled and tapped for the ACT sensor.  It is near the 5th runner I believe.

Granted the bottom end on the 306 in my Coupe is a bit more than a stock motor so it not quite a fair comparison but the induction is a BBK cold air kit, 2000 Mustang GT 80mm MAF, 70mm BBK throttle body, and an Edelbrock Performer RPM II upper and lower intake.  I have a Walbro 255 l/hr in-tank pump, stock fuel lines & rails, an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and 42 lb/hr injectors.  The car was custom tuned with an SCT switch chip which ran $500 for the chip, tuner, and dyno time.  I did have an older Bullet 75mm MAF (calibrated for 24 lb/hr injectors) with 24 lb/hr injectors but when the car started getting up towards 275 rwhp they ran out of fuel as the idle was erratic due to the injectors being maxed out.  All I did from there was change the MAF and injectors to what I have now it it went to 318 rwhp and the idle was back to 850 rpm and nice and smooth.

With the mods you have I would think you could get away with the stock MAF and 19 lb/hr injectors as they are supposed to be good up to about .  Here is a good calculator for injector sizing:

From their calculator the 19 lb/hr units should support 250 fwhp which should be about 225 rwhp in a standard trans car assuming a 10% loss from flywheel to the rear tires or 212 rwhp assuming a 15% loss from flywheel to the rear tires.
