weird weather

Got some funky clouds today, then hail, rain, and finally fog.  Compressing the pic loses a lot of detail

Taking the night shots was more difficult than I realized, most came out blurred from moving the camera too soon.

Im from St Louis so there is no weird weather to me. Its just weather. Sounds like a few of the springs we had back to back about 9-10 years ago.

Cool looking clouds.  I think for night shots I always have to use a tripod to keep it steady enough.

Calling for snow this Fri/Sat here.

Weather sucks. We had a foot of snow here two days ago, and it's been cold and windy ever since. Kind of ironic that the day before the snow hit I saw a flock of robins in my yard for the first time this year, and also saw the crocuses in my garden starting to poke out of the ground. Now the yard and the crocuses are covered in white.

A foot? Lucky you. I couldn't get out of my driveway, and have had to shovel myself out two mornings in a row. The snow was bad enough, but the winds were so high the drifts covered our road again so bad I got stuck in the road trying to pull into my house. A week ago we had hardly anything on the ground, just some patches, and now we've got the plow coming twice in about twenty hours. Somehow Cheticamp got sun and not a flake, yet Sydney got blasted like the rest of us. I don't know how that happened, looking at the Northumberland Straight.

Looks like +6 and rain tomorrow and +9 and partly sunny Saturday though, so things should clear up pretty fast. :)

I've had two pretty bad nights at work the last two nights. Last night it only got down to 22f. But it rained until about 6am. There was also around 25 mph winds. I would much rather it snowed when its that cold. At least snow you can brush off your sholders. Then when I got back from work, I had almost 5 inches of ice all over my car with snow on top. It took me about 25 minutes to get the ice just off of my windsheild. I broke my ice ser. Then I had to drive all the way home without a heater because I haven't had warm enough weather to do the thermostat.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Still been below freezing (though the ice has fallen off the trees) and some without power for 5 days now.  With ground still frozen, there's no place for the water to go.  My garage floor is under a 1/2" of water and ice.  Pales in comparison with Fargo, though.

It was +5 and sunny today, with no wind. Awesome weather, and at least half of that snow has already melted off.  Hopefully the worst is done. I don't think we'll be getting any more big dumps this year.
