wire harness for 88 cougar Reply #19 – March 24, 2009, 10:22:03 PM I don't think any things fried I just got this set of wires but it's off a 87 5.0 and I have a 88 3.8 so the engine connecters are diffrent but all the wires for under the dash that's connected to it are all the same as they were on the 88 3.8 set of wires that burned out so I'm either trying to connect the harnesses for the 3.8 onto the 5.0 wires so everything under the hood will just plug in but that isn't working to well or jus find the 88 3.8 complete harness I need Quote Selected
