window weatherstrip

Hello all, I am new here so a little about me, i am a electrician and live in a town called Sandy, Oregon. custom painting and air brushing are hobbies of mine that keep me quite busy, I am a charter member of learnairbrush.com (you can go there and look at my paint work if you wish) and enjoy building cars, trucks and so on.
well enuf bout that stuff here's my issue
I am building/restoring a 1986 thunder bird turbo coupe for my youngest son, it is all painted and looks pretty  cool now but as we are starting to reassemble it we have found that we cant seam to find the window weather strips for the front doors, Dew wipes, anti rattlers, and the short rain guards at the top/front of the doors. Any one here have any info or tricks up  there sleeves to help us out? i have enclosed a few pictures to show where it started and where it is now
Please keep in mind i am a painter not a picture whiz!

idk if there are aftermarket companies that make anything that would be made to work or not.  Anyone else know?  :dunno:  On rare occasions NOS stuff does pop up on eBay.  I would like to have some new pieces for my car as well.

Now enough small talk...we need MORE PICS of your sons car please.  ;) lol.  That thing looks pretty bad!!!!

Soon we hope to find a ground affects kit for it and the rear spoiler, he found a set of the head light covers on e bay and they are in awesome condition! so they will be going on it, then i want to find the 87' model hood i think it is, the one with the two hood scoops? any ways as we get the parts we keep going!

why do people saying there restoring a car when they "Modified"??????????????????????????

restoring means put  BACK to factory condition!

by the way your Modified t-bird looks great.
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

shpaint1,

No worries, that link is actually too hard to find (IMO), so you provided a good excuse to post it again.

The Steele catalog arrived.  It's about the size of a Chinese phone book and about as useful. :dunno:  When it's time to order, I'll probably just call them to get what I need.
