Equal length, or unequal shorty headers?

Who has equal length, or unequal length headers? There are some equal length headers on Ebay for 10 bucks...I see the mass of twisted tubes and have to wonder if they fit on the car with no issues. I have Cougar w/5.0L engine.

it stick with the non equal length headers. your not at a level where you would use equal lengthers and they are a pain in the nuts. besides, more torque out of long tubes if you could score them.

btw...i assume your 5.0 is stock and you have the cast heavy hell manifolds. factory mustang headers nor aftermarket ones will not work with your y pipe. you would have to upgrade to an h, x or crossover pipe to use headers.

i used to have MAC equal lengths, but i got tired of the headershiznitting (and catching) on my steering shaft! grrrr... traded them to a friend for his stock Mustang headers. no considerable power loss but i do miss the way the engine rev'd and sounded. install wasn't too bad... unequal is tons easier. and don't melt everything in it's path. lol.
