well they make the 5.0 cluster thats like the turbo coupe one without the boost gauge. Or the full digital one.

http://www.coolcats.net/tech/general is a link to where you can click to see the few different clusters availible.

That only applies to 85-88 models. The 83-84 is different. An 84 turbo cluster would work, but the tach would be off. I dunno if the older 4-cyl tachs can be modified to work with the V8

joker77_2005,

Check in the body/appearance/interior forum, there are lots of examples there of people doing their own setup.

There was an 83/84 on evilbay that had gauges all the way across the dash.  A little much for me, but maybe he was a control freak.  Or worked at Autometer.

Just think of your dash as a blank canvas and cut loose.  Then come back with plenty of pics.

onmustang 83 to 88 tach have a switch on back to change it from4/6/8cyl. maybe the turbo bird tach the same?
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

Screw you Ford... I'm going to get a ranger riding a mustang to restore your focus on the expedition needed to escape from the edge of bankruptcy.

I dunno about the '83-'84, probably not since the TC is the only one to get a tach... The '85-'88s defiantly do not have a switch... The '87-'88 tach is fairly easily modified for 6 or 8 oper, however the '85-'86 is not..
