88 Cougar LS Bostonian

I have a 1988 Mercury Cougar LS Bostonian. It's white w/ a blue cloth top and pinstriping, and blue interior. A continental package was on it and is available for it. Great for a sleeper car. Ther is rust on the bottom of the doors and in a couple of spots around the cloth top.The RH taillight assembly has had the reverse lens broken out. The LH taillight has a small triangle  missing at the seam. The engine is a 3.8L v6 w/ 91,735mi and has run good. needs some exhaust work and a couple of gaskets. It spits a little bit of oil. It's mated to an AOD tranny, recently replaced but the job was botched and is having minor problems with fluid loss. The original tranny can come with it. It was running poorly because I drove it w/out the tv cable hooked up. The shift lever was sheared off by a bunch of idiots, though I had intended to get a rebuilld kit and shift kit for it and put it back in. The body is in decent shape. The nose of the car (radiator area) has a section of rust that needs to be repaired. The drivers side lower control arm has been replaced because the ball joint went and folded the tire underneath the car. A new spring and strut were also put in on that side. Spring and strut for the passenger side are in the trunk waiting to be put on. It needs an alignment but I was trying to wait until I got the rest of the suspension up.The alternator, battery, ignition coil, starter solenoid are all new in september '04. The gas tank has a rather bothersome leak that I've been meaning to address. It's pretty steady at abt .5 ounces per hour. I put a coffee can under when I know I'll be parked for a while. I think thats about every thing in as thorough a manner as I can manage. I'll post pix first thing in the morning. I really dont know what a reasonable price to ask is. I would like to see it in a good home since the dealer will only give me 200 for it and probably junk it or wholesale it. I will deliver within reason on the east coast.
