yeah, its an 86, but its got the sefi motor, so swaps would be the exact same as the bird.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

And Crusher has a nice clean car to start with. That would be a great project car for someone. Crusher is easy to deal with too, so someone should pick that up from him.

Sounds like me, but opposite. I don't care for the birds nealy as much as the cougars. Just a preference, and you won't be happy unless you get what you really want. I need to eventualy put my drivetrain from my yellow cat into another clean 85-86' cougar myself. They seem top pop up from time to time. I see clean birds for sale more often than cats, so you shouldn't have a hard time finding one if your patient.

I think what you need is my Black 1988 Cougar XR-7:D . I would love to modify it, but do not know when I will find the time.
The car is in CT. and is road worthy.
Oh as to old Cougars, I like the 70 Cougar best.
