There's no sense in throwing away something that can be fixed or modded the way you want it.

Let's see what the frame ends up looking like on this project. ;) I see 2" tubing already

it's actually 1-1/2" that was on the car when I bought it. I have some 2" material left over from the bird I plan on using, after I get the motor and trans in.

boy!  now that bring back some funny feelings:crazy: it look like the way i did it on my sister 86 stang. when a curb came out of no where and bit her car but it was at the front of the door, just back from the front fender. its a slow work but worth the time when you get it done. good luck  and keep us posted. if you need a rocker panel i have some extra!

this is  when i had to replace a panel  on my 83capri.  at one point the wife took a photo.
so im feeling your pain but i still remember what i was thinking when this photo was taken.

.
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

I have had that look as well.I often wonder why I'm pouring so much time, labor, and parts on a car that really has no big cash value, but I continue on my path to completion just the same.I guess I just love the car.I only liked it when I brought it home, but after a couple of years,we've bonded pretty well.Seeing it REALLY naked didn't hurt.LOL.LOL.
