1987 Thunderbird turbo coupe October 21, 2008, 05:55:46 PM Hey Guys,I've got to sell the turbo coupe.time.Up for sale is a 1987 thunderbird turbo coupe, blue on blue/grey cloth interrior. The car has 135,000 miles and runs great. I think the TPS needs to be adjusted because on a cold start you've gotta give it a tiny bit of gas. I just don't know how to "Back-probe" without ruining the wires. Other than that everything works. The automatic transmission was recently rebuilt, is still under warranty, and it shifts great. The wheels are in okay shape. The paint still shines after all this time. I am the fourth owner, and this rust free turbo coupe has always been garaged, the dash is even uncracked. This car is completely unaltered without anything aftermarket or modified. Many of these cars are subject to these modifications which usually turn out to be more troublesome than thier worth, none of that here.I have also tracked down every previous owner of this car and dospoogeented everything that everyone did to the car. Just a side note, but sometimes people like to hear that. I'm looking for 2,250 on the forum. I can't post pictures, but if you give me your email I'll gladly send you some. Located just outside Worcester. Quote Selected

1987 Thunderbird turbo coupe Reply #8 – December 30, 2008, 09:25:10 PM Well I have my 88 thunderbird. Its not a turbo coupe, it started life as a v6, and now its a v8. But it has a tc hood, and tc wheels, and its got tc ride control strut covers, and the tc body moldings(well the door ones), and tc seats. So its not a legit TC but it kinda looks like one. :) Quote Selected
