20th fabric / swap

There is a nice 20th on auto tradder for sale as well as a parts car in the dayton oh area.

I just got done talking with the owner and I inquired about the seat covers.
He only has the bottoms of the front driver/passanger.

However, my problem is my driver back cover.

I just noticed that the layout of the pin strips on the rear seats both back and bottom are nearly a perfect match for a front seat repair.
If you look at the stitches and the red pin strip, they are identical to the front seats except the stips are wider up front than the rear.
Perhaps i am wrong due to people sitting up front more than the rear and the difference is wear.

What do you guys think about using the rear seat bottom and back as the source for fabric on the front seats?

I am being offered the rear seat bottom and back for 100 + shipping.

Think it ought to work, I had thought about that as a backup, but he had the passenger side front seat cover. I think it's the same guy, sorry, twas me who c00ched it from you :D  lol

Wanteed 80 including shipping for the one seat back cover. Dunno if that was a lot or not but it's worth it to me, drivers seat back has a couple tears and wear spots.

Yyyyyyup LOL found it on coolcats he posted pics in the viewers rides section. I asked him about that and the steering wheel because my leather wrapping is pretty roached on top. His wasnt any good either though. But the suede material is GREAT on this pass. seat cover. I think he said the backs were good. I'd love to have it right in front of me to look at but Im at school for the week naturally. You do have it though to compare. I think as you said the pattern is the same if not real  close. And of course it depends on what you need to replace. In my case its the outer side bolster section of the cloth on my driver's seat, so that, as long as you have a piece of it thats long enough, a shop can cut it and swap it in.
