Yeah, since mine was always a 5-spd, it doesn't hurt the stance of my car to loose a little weight. Still, talk about an over-engineered 'fastener'. It is about four times bigger and who knows how many times heavier than the light it holds in place. :D

Btw, mine were bolt-ons too.......... after I drilled a few holes. ;)

I kind of like the sturdy bracket idea due to the fact that so many of these cars have been nosed into some incline or whatever,and they'll protect the lights well........not that I plan to bust up my Sport.LOL.
