Vacation in Arizona Pics... 56k WARNING March 27, 2005, 10:46:51 PM Hey guys I am in Arizona right now. I just thought I would share some of the pictures I have taken. It is very strange going from a flat place like Western New York to this place. Quote Selected
Re: Vacation in Arizona Pics... 56k WARNING Reply #1 – March 27, 2005, 10:56:04 PM Western New York is far from flat. Remember, I have family there.. I've been there before. I can compare there to here. (I just mentioned this to both family members in the house who were born in the Lockport/Newfane area, and they both chuckled)Now south Florida is FLAT. They say that if sea levels rose just 16 feet, everything south of Orlando would be under water. (there's another 200-some miles worth of state south of Orlando) I'm at 12 feet above sea level. I don't even get to see so much as a hill (outside of the occasional landfill or interstate overpass) until I drive about 120 miles north. But yes, those pics look much less flat than W. NY. :p Quote Selected

Re: Vacation in Arizona Pics... 56k WARNING Reply #4 – March 28, 2005, 09:23:01 AM We just bought a house in bradenton florida, biggest hill down there was not as steep as my driveway in ohio. half of ohio is flat, the other half is were the glaciers ended. I live next to ash cave so its really hilly. I've never been west of indiana so i'm gona have to do that soon man. Arizona looks great, nice pics Quote Selected

Re: Vacation in Arizona Pics... 56k WARNING Reply #6 – March 28, 2005, 10:56:48 AM Beautiful out there, isn't it? I went to a town called Manitou Springs in Colorado a couple years ago. It seems everything out there is so much bigger than it is here in NC. It's the only other place I've been where I thought I could live out there and like it.Enjoy your vacation and thanks for the pics! Quote Selected
