How embarassing

So while my bird is still sitting in the driveway, heartless, I decide to take my festiva to the track, just for s&g. I finally get my gf to run her shadow as well (which I ran 15.64 at 86mph in last month). And like last month, we get there over an hour after t&t starts (which was at 4, and ends at about 7). Even after we get there we end up waiting in the staging lanes forever. We finally got two runs in before they start the bracket race event scheduled for the night. A couple times during the even they stop and run t&t again briefly. We managed to get one more run in when the event ended.

Anyway, my best run of the night in the festy was my first run. 17.95 at 76.13mph with a 2.55 60'. Honestly I expected it to run a couple tenths faster but I guess its not bad for something that gets 50 mpg regularly.

My gf on the other had, it was her first time ever going down the track. Her first run she screwed up because she let off the gas way before the traps and ended up with a mid-16 at 60-some mph. Second run however, she ran a 15.33 at 88.72 mph with a 2.36 60'. I was amazed. She actually ran almost a third of a second faster than me when I ran her car last month. I was skeptical that something might have set off the traps early but she backed it up with a 15.50 at 88.25 at the end of the night which is still better than what I ran last month...

Now she wants to make the car go faster....

Definetly a turbo shadow for that kind of time.
Turn up the boost and add the extra injector in the intake, she'll go faster.

Boost is about as high as I can go without hitting cutout (14.7psi), Id like to intercool it before much of anything. A 3bar map later on and maybe 18psi. Proper intake/exhaust, etc. A mid 14's car would be cool.

Not bad for the $200 we paid for it.
