i just never stop the questions.......

ok im in the process of pulling the old exhaust old and noticed right after the old headers and before the cats (on both sides) there is steel tubing run off the pipes with some kind of d housing at the end running into some kind of sensor or valve going to the a/c compressor anyone know what it is and how to reconnect to the new exhaust?

Hey bud that's what we're here for! Just a tip though!!!---try to keep it all in one thread, you could have all of these in one thread, theyre related enough. :D

That's the air pump aka "smog pump" tube, the air pump, which should be located on the passenger side of your engine bay, near the bottom, pumps fresh air to the cat, to help the reaction that cleans up the exhaust gases. You can just leave all of the rubber stuff connecting to the air pump, just disconnect this tube from all that garbage. The new H-pipe will also have a tube coming off of it, just get a rubber stopper and plug it.

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

Not really...especially if you go the route of ditching the cats. I in particular, took that all off becase I removed ALL tubing from the air pump. I left the air pump, but I wanted to free up space in that area.

Same here bud, same here. Most of us are :D  Post up pics/links to stuff you intend to buy before you buy it if you're unsure, as you did with the headers. That way we can make sure you're getting stuff that will work. I've definitely wasted some money getting the wrong things before or not getting sufficient supplies. Hate to see someone else do that too.
