If it turns out good I'll let yall know.

Even if it doesn't please show it to us.  On another note the person I'm dealing with said they can make them-I'll place my order as soon as possible (this weekend).

Ok guys sorry it took so long but I finally got the new overlays made. As you see I requested the tach to actually display all the way up to 7,000 rpm. He was even able to put the t-bird emblem in the speedo. These cost me $80 and are made of the same material(or seems like) the factory uses. He told me he was working on them for a while to make sure the green was the same as stock. I won't have a pic of them installed on the car for a while because I haven't modified my tach or speedo yet. I been real busy changing rusted out brake and fuel lines now:mad:  as soon as I get them on I will post up pics.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Back a few moons ago, I stumbled onto a...well...rather used...'88 Tcoupe with a 140 factory speedo in it.  Didn't even realize it was there until I got the car home.  The car was bought for $100.00 because I wanted to TCoupe nose on my sport.  In my area, both on the road and in the yards, there are right around a kabillion V-6 models, and only about 3 TCoupes.  So TC parts are a rarity.  The previous owner, was trying to change the timing belt, however, somewhere along the line, FOR HIM it required removing and disassembling the head  :rollin:  Nothing like a 20 year old with a set of tools that doesn't understand what a screwdriver is for.

Oh...and I am not pointing this to all 20 year olds.  Don't want frost anyone on that.  :rollin:

Sounds like the '77 Granada a friend bought about 25 years ago from a guy in his neighborhood... Engine was completely dissembled & in the trunk, orig owner said the rings were shot, wouldn't run but 25mph...

Well we looked the engine over and really found nothing wrong with it...Then he located another 250 engine so we installed it rather than rebuild the orig(block had been wet a few times, need a good bit of machine work)... Due to linkage hookup, we used the original carburetor... Guess what??? It would only run 25mph, because the main metering was plugged up in that carb... With a Jiffy Kit and good cleaning, ran fine...

TC took great pleasure in telling the kid who dissembled the engine, what was really wrong with it...
