Well it's not that it wasn't all that funny (though, it wasn't).. it's that a lot of us are getting past that stage of trying to show off against imports. We be growin' up , yo!

Yeah...maybe the Supra driver was havin a bad day, lol.

It's all relative I guess.

Even though the Supra is, (and it IS, most likely) a better handling car, I'd still drive a Tbird anyway.

Not trying to bust bubbles, and it is sorta funny to see a "handling" car knock down more cones than say, a "sport/luxury" car.

It's all relative though...;)

You know I gotta say, even though I have NEVER raced anyone on the street (beats me maybe Im not on the road enough w/e no ones picked a fight with me..end of story) I kinda feel like even though putting a pen 15y ricer in their place would be satisfying....it would also feel like a waste of time and really cheap in my favor. Not a fair fight at all. I'd much rather race someone whod actually give my car a hard time.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Haha well don't get me wrong Im not looking for races either. Definitely would be cool but I really dont feel the need to prove it to anyone. Even a friend, just doing it for fun. Better to not bother especially anywhere near traffic. I'm more than happy to nail it from like 15 mph in 1st and hear em go "ar-ar-ar-ar-ar!" as I get put back in the seat, then "AAARRR!" when it shifts. Baumann kit FTW!!!!

I want a shift kit bad. When I was 16 to 19 I would spin the tires at every light and do a burn out just for fun when I raced people. Now there its just not fun to show off anymore. I just feel like a jackass. Its weird how life changes after you get married and have a kid on the way.

I just get a kick out of beating turbo'd, body kit sportin' ricers in my granny lookin Tbird.  Although I don't put effort in racing imports that I know won't put up a fight any more.  My last few runs have been really close.
