Pics of our last dog run to Cleveland

Just a few pics from our trip to pick up 7 dogs.
There was a raid in Indiana again. 146 dogs were rescued from a puppy mill. From what I understand, all the dogs were in wire crates, stacked up along the walls of the barn.
None had to be put down.
These 7 were brought to NY and are now in foster homes until adopted. 1 of our 7 found a home in Canada.

I love wiener dogs! One of the few small dogs I like (English and French bulldogs being others among that short list). I'll have a wiener someday (named Schnitzel, of course, or Frank)...

...and I absolutely DETEST puppy mills. They seem to be coming more popular now as people look for ways to make a quick buck, and now that people can call a cross-breed a "designer breed" and charge more than purebreds cost it's an epidemic. "Golden-doodle"? "Terri-poo"? "Lhasa-poo"? I remember when these dogs were called "MUTTS" and were given away for free. Now people want $800+ for them!!!

The owner of these dogs was trying to breed them down to pure white, as you can tell by the one still in the crate

You continue to be the man!  What a great thing you do.  Our little rescued Pekingese is the most grateful dog we've ever owned.

They're a very large dog in a small package, bred to kill badgers...

Any one of ours, wouldn't think twice about trying to take down our 75 pound german shepherd. She just keeps her distance when one gets pissy about something.

My grandpa had a small weineir dog named torpedo. The re-did there halls with wood floors. That dog would take off down the hall then never be able to stop. They put toilet paper rolls at the end of the hall cause the dog never learned and put holes in the wall.

It was funny watching that dog jump a 8 foot fence, and boy could that dog run fast.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
