I don't know man, HOTROD is always saying that people should build Fox T-birds/Cougars...I guess if we want to stay unique maybe that isn't a good thing.

I went to Power Tour this year in my 'Stang and didn't see a SINGLE fox T-bird or Cougar.  Fox Mustangs were everywhere of course (blah).  Funny thing there were several '80s GMs (saw a few nice Monte's, 3rd gen Camaros, a nice Cutlass parked next to me one day, etc).  Next time I go its in the T-bird for sure.

The reason you didn't see a fox Bird or Cat is that few are left. Have you tried to find one? They are kinda rare now, at least in the rust belt....

its also hard to find muscle cars that any common man can afford but those were everywhere.

Rust bucket 1st gen camaro = $5000
fox body t-bird = what $2500 for a nice one

You'd think people would show more interest...thats all I'm saying

If I can ever get my bird finished...:punchballs: .... I want to run the Hot Rod Power Tour with it :burnout:
That's kind of funny that a bunch of magazine gear heads got the wrong year on that bird. Unless of course that guys writing left a litttle to be desired. Maybe his 7 looked like a 9:dunno:

Sorry to hi-jack, but I did the first leg in my Mark this year, and I didn't see a single fox Bird or Cougar either. I did see a red MN-12 bird and a white one, but that was it. There were 4 Mark VIIs however. :D You definitely need to bring your bird next year. There's talk that it's gonna run down to Chattanooga which means I'll be hitting the last leg.

My pics are Here, but they're not all mine cause my stupid SD card decided to die in Springfield. The password is cougar

You're probably thinking about Bill's 89 LSC (Bill89lsc on lincolnsonline). I didn't see his car in person cause he didn't join up until after Springfield, but I've seen it online. It's insane how much he's polished on that thing. He even spent a day polishing his transmission lines. :hick:
