TC Hoods / 5.0's

I'm seeing tons of 5.0 cars here with TC hoods on them and was wondering...  Are those of you with the 5.0 engine, TC hood arrangement removing not only your hood liners, but also the baffle that is riveted to the underside of the hood vents to make clearance for your 5.0's upper intake plenum?

I already yanked my hood liner, because it was nasty.  The hood vent baffle looks like it might miss the upper intake plenum, because the baffle seems to sit on the passenger side of the engine compartment, whereas the upper plenum is obviously predominantly on the driver's side of the compartment.

If you remove the baffle, rain water and other  would be able to just blow in on the engine.  How do you guys handle this?

I still have the liner, but no baffle as you call it.
I've always had the rubber boot over the distributor and have never had an issue.

I made scoop baffles (or block-off plates if you will) for mine. The turbo air plenum found it's way into the garbage can.

I've never had any issues.  Back when I drove the car in winter I also made some "block off plates" for the scoops out of foam material and it worked fine.
