System Sentry being odd

Background for this post:

Last year, out of nowhere I was having a problem with one of my taillight bulbs randomly going out (I think there was a short where the wires go into the plug). I knew this by the "rear lamp out" light lighting up every time I hit the brakes. Eventually I twisted the wires a little and got it to where it was fine.

Tonight I was driving around, and that pesky "rear lamp out" light lit up again while I was driving around, and I noticed that I would go over a bump and it would go out, then another bump and it would come back on. I figured that taillight bulb was screwed up again.

I pulled the car off the side of the road and got out and looked and I had no bulbs out in the back, even when the "rear lamp out" light was on, and I noticed that the "rear lamp out" light would go on or off sometimes from me just shutting the door.

Is something wrong with my system sentry?
