Brake Booster Question...

I have an '87 20th anniverary cougar.  I'm changing my brakes over to the SN-95 setup with 13" cobra's up front and 11.65" in the back.  I am swapping in a '94-'04 Cobra brake booster and 15/16" master cylinder from a '95 cobra.  I know about the fitment issues with the brake booster being longer and skinnier than the stocker; no problem there.  However, I noticed the plunger rod that connects the booster to the brake pedal is significantly shorter than the stocker.  If I'm correct, this will make my pedal about 1" closer to the floor in the resting position.

Is this normal?  Is there an adjustment to make the rod longer?  Will I have enough pedal feel to apply the brakes properly and hard enough before the brake pedal bottoms out on the floor board?

I have searched and can't find any specific information addressing this issue.  I've never done any brake system swaps like this before and want to make sure I get it right.  Please help!

Dave

Ok, my bad.  I'm a flippin' idiot.  After further examination of both the stocker booster and the cobra model, the plunger rod that connects to the brake pedal is exactly the same length on both of them.  I think the square  jutting out from the back of the stocker threw me off and made it look different.  I apologize for wasting everyone's time who read this.
