So if i got UPR subfame connectors welded in can i fit these on the car or not?

No idea.

These are made to fit a 2" wide piece of tube that runs straight between the two subframes (no offsets).

Wish i would of took a piucture of them on the lift today sorry but for $23 i had to ask. Do you happen to have a picture of these installed with any kind of subframe connetors?

Installation question

Would it be better to weld the brace to the floor or bolt it in?  May sound silly but I'm not a metallurgist.

It looks like the reinforcement plates for the seat mounts need to be massaged for the crossbrace to sit flat.

I cut the inside lips off the seat supports on the car and I'm welding it to the floor and original supports. Bolting may be your easier option though.

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

They are meant to be bolted in, but I suppose if you wanted you could weld them, but there really isn't a need to.

As far as the reinforcment plates go.  First, replace the studs w/ bolts (about 40mm long).  On the 12mm side, the nut plate in the floor is tall enough, but on the 8mm side, you will need a little bit of spacer between the nut plate and the crossbrace.

so i bought the crossbraces... yeah :)  soooooo, does anyone have these installed?  if so, can you post a pic of them installed.... i just want to make sure i put them in right :)
