WooHooo! My 87's are FREE April 18, 2008, 12:54:07 PM The Ontario drive clean program: friend or foe.In my experience... foe. However, the first good thing to come out of this program... hehehe.... drum roll please... my 87's are no longer required for testing... they're FREE!!!!!! :) As for the 88, we'll have about five more e-tests (once every two years) to do before she turns thrity! Then I register her as historic... and she'll be exempt to. If she goes that long :hick: I find a whole new world opening in front of me... no longer bound to those silly rules and large headaches! WoooHooo! I just had to share that... my silver lining! :D Go Go! Quote Selected

WooHooo! My 87's are FREE Reply #5 – April 19, 2008, 10:36:32 PM I've never had a car legally inspected...NJ is the second worst state (after California) for emissions and safety standards...not too bad if you know people in low places and know when and where the police are setting up roadside inspection stations...lol.I could move 2 states in any direction and not have to ever worry about it again...friggin' Jersey...lol. WooHooo! My 87's are FREE Reply #6 – April 19, 2008, 10:54:24 PM I hear ya. As you know, I work right on the riverfront and I occasionally find myself looking out the windows and just shaking my head. I can't remember the last time I've had to get an emissions test. It's not that I'm dodging the law, it's just that with the Explorer I don't put enough miles on the T-Bird to require one. PA is much more reasonable when it comes to that. When NJ had that public survey asking people to submit state slogans, I thought seriously of sending in "Distract the guards while we swim for it". You need to come over here and help us build helicopters...then you can move back into the U.S. Quote Selected
