If anything a higher volume pump should worsen he problem,

I know;) ....That's why I can't fathom why it is a problem for some people and not others.  FYI  my tank looks like it just rolled off the assembly line on the inside.

MAYBE the returning fuel is supposed to be fed back into the baffle

Yes.  That's how it works in almost all gravity type systems (non-pressurized tanks)  It's more commonly called a sump box.

This was bad in my 87 T-bird and my 88 T-bird this probelm is not as bad but still you can tell they both have 255lph pumps plus if it gets cold i at least try to have no less than 9 or 10 Gallons ever in my car.

Mine looks like that too. Like I said I replaced everything exactly like the factory had it when I changed to the 155 lph pump. Maybe my cars return line isn't returning the fuel to the baffel/sump. It could be dumping it into the tank. I couldn't see without cutting the tank to take a peek though.

You know I never had this problem with the old SO motor

My lsc does something similar, except it doesn't take off for a solid 3 seconds once u hit the gas.
My guess is my car does that cause the timing is out, cause it does the same thing when its in park.
Hell I can park my car on a hill with less then an 1/8 and sit there and do a burnout with the pedal to the floor.
Stock pump and everything, just new tank.

I've never had a problem with that either. I have heard some peeps with built Mark VIIs say that they run a 1/2 tank when they go to the track for that same reason. :hick:
