Reply #3 – March 30, 2008, 10:02:52 PM its real easy. make a reference mark on your tire, and then one on your pinion yoke. spin the tire ONE revolution, and count how many times the pinion yoke turned. 2-3/4 turns equals 2.73 gears. 3 turns equals 3.08 gears. 3-1/4 turns equals 3.27 gears. 3-1/2 equals 3.55 gears. and so on....
