Got one today at the boneyard I've gone to for the last 10 years. He said he had one in a pile of stuff in the building and he gave it to me.No charge.COOL !!! So,one step closer to getting the 5 speed in.I have to get a clutch kit,and a pressure plate, and I've got everything.Gettin' a little excited !!

I don't really know yet.My buddy works in the commercial dept.at Autozone, and he can hook me up for 20% off.I'll see what they have to offer.I don't really need a full race clutch.Just a good clutch that can take a little abuse, and not cost a fortune.

make sure you get the dowel pins for the pressure plate. I almost forget them.

Did you put the pedel assy in yet? Have fun with the top bolt on the left side. I was just fighting with that sucker today I was putting the brake-boaster and master cylinder back in my cougar. Taking the seat out does make it alittle easier.

Good luck with it, let us know when you do it. Your going to love it when its done

I haven't even started yet.I will pull the driver seat and back seat (bottom) out for maximum space.I hope to take a couple of extra days off soon, and I'll swap in the pedals at that time.No big hurry, the Sport isn't going anywhere.I have a lot to do.I just have to do it.The replacement fender will probably go on saturday,or Friday after work.I still have a little prep work to do on it.I'm also hoping to get the header panel sanded and primed. One step at a time.

Well,I STILL need the block plate.I think the one I got for nothing was for a small block Ford, but the starter bolt holes are wrong, and it isn't the right one after all.

NEEDED.....One 5.0 5 speed block plate.

I may just do that.I'm going to the boneyard Saturday morning and I'll take one last look around before I go that route. No big deal,I'm not ready to install the 5 speed yet anyway, but,I surprise myself every once in a while with a cool find.Maybe Saturday will be one of those days.I know there are two TC's out there (no block plate for me there, but maybe something else cool).Thanks.

I got one, I was just looking at it today. It has some rub marks from when someone installed the wrong weight on his flywheel :hick: .  If I have a box, just pay the shipping.
