Small score a few minutes ago.....

I am going to remove the Warlock lers (I never uncork them anyway),and wanted a set of Flowmasters. They may or may not be overrated, but I like the sound a lot.Anyway,I went to the Corral, and found a set for $50.00.A few people were acting as if they were interested, but no one would pony up the cash.Anyway, two Flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series Delta Flows for the $50.00.Seemed like a good deal to me.Used, but in very nice shape according to the pics sent to me.Nothing else really going on,just thought I'd share.

Nah that's good! And yes they sound AWESOME. I actually got my 40-series Flows from a local guy. for $60 I got both of em, WITH flowtubes attached. 8 years old and looking like it, the welds and edges on the lers rusty and a little surface rust on the tubes...but everything but 100% solid. Couldn't have been happier! Them and no cats and the thing is pretty freakin' loud! So much sound deadener in these cars, sometimes I feel like it's not loud ENOUGH! I really need to have a buddy drive the thing so I can hear it from outside, I'm sure my opinion would change. I keep reminding myself that mom thinks it is "abosolutely excessive" and that I "draw WAY too much attention" to myself. Alrighty then mission accomplished, my worries were unfounded.

2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

I'm unsure what I'm going to do with them.If I decide to sell them,I'll let you know. For now, they're staying on until I get some other work done, like fender swap, tie rods, etc. The Warlocks are great though.

200 for brand new Flows and SS tailpipes. sold the tails for 130. so 70 for the lers! I had some tails bent but they used 2 1/4 and crush bent them so it really choked it up. I cut them off for that reason and that it wasnt loud enough for me. My whole family says the same thing as your mom lol

Haha I bought the cheapest pair of tails I could find...the $100 flowmaster STEEl (lol) ones from summit. For probably 3 or 4 months I had dumps and lived with that DRONE at 1k rpm. Wow. Awful. I thought it got a LOT quieter when I put the tails on. Mom, sure enough, "IIIII don't think so. Not one bit!" Probably just because the drone was gone that it seemed so much quieter :hick:.

I really think it did change a little though, at least having the sound out back as opposed to RIGHT freakin' under me lol. I liked it a lot, but that drone was downright ornery!

I really dont have the drone effect on mine for some reason maybe its cause they sit so far back. Now the Glasspack that dumped under my door... loud, drone, stank, bad idea.

Huh. Well that's good. Who knows could be your pipe lengths or something it's all a function of that really. Definitely gonna second that feeling on the dumped glasspack! :hick: LOL
