88 tbird starts then dies

I have an 88 tbird turbo converted to a 306 info on car. 306w/world sr heads, 70 mm tb, mass air ,24 lb injectors, lighting intake, and a bbk instacharger (supercharger )When you start the car it fires up for a min.then dies  the car will stay running with my foot in it.I've  tested the tps then set it to .96 I cleaned the IAC. The car will only stay running if i turn the idle up to 1400rpms min under that it will start serging and then stalls.I'm sorry i didn't do this myself was to busy at work. There seems to have been a wire spliced into the black wire on the tps but i have no clue where it might have been hooked up to .I think that the black wire on the tps has something to do with it  since the car ran with this setup before.Any info info would be of help thanks

Welcome to the Forums!

This happened to me but it was another problem entirely. My fuel pump did not have a secure power connection and was turning on and off.

I am pretty sure that it not your problem but someone here should be able to help you!

it really depends on where the other end of the black wire is.  The black wire on the tps does parallel with other sensors so find out where it goes.

you sound like the car was in a shop and someone else did work.

It is helpful to explain that part.

Why was it in a shop? What were they suppose to do for you?
