First start w/boring it as much as you can then turbo charge it w the biggest turbo you can buy. Then have the turbos feed a supercharger. Then like a 1000 shot of nitrous.
That will get as much HP as you can get.

Street or strip?  If it's street then Heads, Cam, and intake.  Throw a carb on it and you're done.

Don't get to agressive with the cam or you'll be spending a bunch on the valvetrain.

Stroker kits for the 351w
Then youd wanna do some heads
get a good intake to match
Have a custom grind cam for how you want it to preform, and something that will work great with the rest of your combo.
That should put you on your way to some nice HP numbers.
Theres always superchargers, turbos, and spray you can add.

There’s a million different ways you can build that engine, but first you’re going to have to decide what you want to use it for. Daily driver, quarter mile, street/strip? Then you want to figure how much money and time you want to spend, piecing it together here and there, or buying a kit from Jegs and taking it to an engine builder.
If I were you, I’d read about the different motors and find out if the extra hp from stroking it is worth the cost for your application. It may be better for you just to go with a nice set of pistons.  Either way, you’re probably going to end up buying a nice set of heads, descent cam, and intake carbed or fuel injected. but like I said, you got to figure out what you want it for first, because you can change the power curve to whatever you want by assembling it right, and get some fuel economy out of it too if you go with fuel injection... but that may not matter if it's just a weekend toy.
