Can I eliminate the coolant lines to the lower intake???

Been doing a lot of reading, and never really found a definitive answer. Some say these coolant lines are to warm up the engine faster in the winter, others to make the heat more consistent throughout the head.

I'd really, REALLY like to eliminate them. They're ugly and get in the way. This is my fun/race car, and usually only sees 10-20 miles on weekends. I know that I'll have to relocate my coolant temp sensor, anything else?

Can I do with without any negative effects? Thanks!

It would be best to block off the port in the intake at the head to avoid the dead/non-flowing coolant that will collect there.

It won't affect anything though to remove the lines.  I removed mine  (as well as the stock oil cooler) when I installed the different oil cooler.
