Take a look at this...I've never seen a vinyl top like this one

this is a 1984 mercury cougar it has a 3.8 liter engine with a automatic transmission. it has 90 thousand miles on it. interior is in good condition power windows,lock,mirrors,seats,and it has digital gauges the exterior is in good condition no dents overall the car is in good condition please email me at

Most definitely not factory.

I wonder if they were going after the look of the asc/McLaren's convertible top, which in turn is a copy of the Mercedes SL design.

You would probably be disappointed when you do, they were pretty boring actually. A digital readout for the speedometer, and the fuel guage only, the gear indicator, odometer & trip meter are all standard buttstuffog. The rest of the dash is just idiot lights.
