X-mas confusion!!! iPod ?

I'd cut my balls off before I'd buy into a proprietary set-up like the Ipod or even the new MP3 players. I just get the kids the Sansa players and they don't know the difference and it's easier and more choices to buy music for it. I'd like to kick the RIAA's ass for what they've done to ruin the MP3 scene. I have a 40GB HD player and it can't use any of the new  with the protections that make it unplayable on my machine. Thank God for Amazon and others who are  setting up MP3 outlets for those of us who will never ever ever ever buy a piece of crippled music. Did you know I couldn't move the few songs from my old laptop to the new laptop when I sold it due to the stupid crippling of the WMAs. I hate hate hate the RIAA, fortunately many musicians are learning to hate the RIAA too. It was so hard to type this while resisting the urge to type massive numbers of curses!

Every timewe he hooks it up to put some more tunes on there is makes you take the whole folder off then put the new tunes in the folder then drag the folder back onto the IPOD!

Why?  I can upload songs one at a time without moving things off of mine.....

The iPod is a Nike, and the Sony is a Converse. They both work alright, sometimes the cheaper one is even better, but your kids can't be seen without the check on the side.

I'd get him the iPod. Otherwise, it's like getting the purple faced puppiesanese knock-off He-Man with an AK-47 but no Sword. It's He-Guy!

The new Nano's look pretty decent. The screen even looks bigger than my 1st Gen.

That's just my opinion. Teenagers are far more superficial than we are. Sad, but true.
