third brake light.


unless im wrong but  i thought that was the easiest way to tell an 85 from an 86

Looks like a generic third brake light...that's not OEM. Hell, I did that back in the day too LOL. The VIN definitely indicates that it's an '85.

I don't remember ever seeing the painted bottom section of the taillights, nor the chrome accents around the red/white parts. Was that a 30th thing or is that also custom?

Anyone notice it has dual power seats but no auto lamp/dim and no premium sound with equalizer? That's kinda odd.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

The 30th emblems were not installed at the factory, they came in separate dealer prep packet to be installed by the dealer or owner.

Wouldn't they be in that white bag in the trunk?

The auction says: There is a car cover in the trunk that the previous owner used when the car was in the garage.

That is what I would say is what's in the bag. ;)
