We're OK, and so is Matt. I think Ted survived, but I haven't heard.

High and dry here in Vancouver Apartment is at 280ft above sea level and House I'm building in Kalama is at 475 feet so all is well there. Heard on the new's that the Wallmart parking lot way north in Chehalis (spelling?) is in ten feet of water.

I'm high and dry.  On Monday I was supposed to go to Aberdeen for the day but after crossing several small streams across the freeway and hitting a 4x4 in one of them I decided to turn around.  Lucky I did because right after this they closed the road.

I was driving the LTD LX and when the 4x4 came up it hit the shifter cable and bent the bracket.  It went right to 1st gear.  Had to leave it pointing to park on the way home because this is where drive was now.

Easy fix but someone was telling me to turn around and go home.

I-5 will be closed till Friday at least so I could not go down to see Mr. Bird if I wanted to.

Quite the week.  Here's one link, don't know how long they will leave it.  http://www.king5.com/video/index.html?nvid=198232&shu=1

Here's one more, I-5 may be closed through the week-end.  http://www.king5.com/video/news-index.html?nvid=198742&shu=1
