Front brake work needed

My blue 86' is pretty much stock accept exhaust. I plan on keeping it for a long time, even though my boy is the one driving it and propably for a few years......at least. I need to replace my rotors and pads VERY soon.
I'm thinking about buying these:

The car will stay stock for some time. But, I figured these would last longer. Just thought I would get some helpful opinions from people who know better than me. I won't be putting these on myself, since I don't have the tools, time or the place to do this........and it's realy cold outside as well.

two things.

first off, there is a left and right hand rotor for that engineering layout.  notice they are opposite cuts.

second off, waste your money on those real soon cause they wont work.

If that picture is EXACTLY what your getting, then that looks to me like a rear axle application or a front application with separate hub/rotor, which correct me if I'm wrong you don't have. You may want to clarify with the seller if the picture accurately describes your application.

Its just a picture, lots of people have ordered those and they come as the correct part.  My opinion Victor for the 10" brakes on your Cougar its not worth it.  I would just go with stock replacement parts.

There is absolutely no need to waste the money on "fancy" parts if you're staying with the stock system.

Get decent pads though.  No need to go crazy, but don't buy the cheapest ones you can find.
