Computer Chip upgrade

Where can i get a chip upgrade, what performance increase should I expect with one, and are they available for the cougar? (I assume they are) 5.0 xr-7. Thanks :flame:

From the way you question is worded I would say your car is near stock or at best upgraded to a 5.0 HO. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Don't spend it on a stupid chip. Chips are only good for engines that the EEC is having trouble and needs help maxing out it's combo such as heads,cam,intake,blower,turbo etc... If you don't have any BIG mods that the EEC is having trouble handling than it isn't needed. Custom chip can cost alot of $$ too..
