Happy thanksgiving !!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Even those outside the Thanksgiving border. I hope you have a great day, eat til it hurts, be thankful, and enjoy your families. I'm working a 10 hour shift, but we're having our Thanksgiving on Saturday. Still, it's all good.

we had so many power outages yesterday we couldn't see how we could prep for today ,, so we are putting it off until tomorrow.  weather seems better now

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday my wife made pumpkin pie and cherry pie from scratch and I made vanilla bean ice cream (with a real vanilla beans). Today I made a 18lb turkey with thyme, rosemary, and shallot butter. Garlic and chive mashed red potatoes (with butter and heavy cream). Brussels sprouts with pancetta. Orange glazed carrots. We really like to cook so this is kind of our day. We had 12 relatives over and most of the food got eaten. I've got some pie and ice cream left so that's my breakfast tomorrow. Healthy I know.
