They cleared the box nicely. As for lifting the decklid, they really don't have enough strength, you still have to lift the lid, just makes it easy to lift. :D

Hmmm.... I have a spare set of good Mustang sturts laying around......  Might be a good idea to try some fabrication this weekend....

Hmmm let me know how that works. I know where there is a Mustang hatch back sitting near me........

Swet thanks.  That diagram may just help....    It will be easier to fab up the strut system with the trunklid staying up by itself....:shakeass:
