I am beginning the planning of a 2007 end-of-the-year/Christmas get together for EARLY December (1st or 2nd weekend).

I need to know what dates are best, as I will have to make reservations and what not.

Here's the plan:
Staying at Portland's Historic "Thunderbird Hotel"
Maybe a Friday night cruise?
Car Show/Bench Racing/BBQ on Sat with a raffle and gift exchange
Dinner Sat night at a reserved restaurant (casual)
Gokart Racing in Portland on Sunday (45MPH indoor karts, bring your helmet!)

This is a family event, please bring your spouse/significant other/dog. We will be doing lots of pictures for the club as well.

ABM has quite a little "stockpile" to auction off. 100% can either go towards the club (Foxtbirdcougarforums) or a charity (Friends of PIR). A gag gift exchange is also proposed.

Think of it as a mini "CatJam West" except for Christmas and we're crossing over to the NATO and TurboFord guys as well.

This is all preliminary, but I seriously think that this will go off very well! I've gotten verbal commitments from about a dozen people for some sort of get-together in December already, so it's time to start firming it all up!

Also the FTCF 2007 ET winners will be announced and the Certificates shown. Obviously not all the fast ET guys were here, so I will be mailing some out.
