Almost owned a new 'Bird

At the junkyard today in an '87 Thunderbird (Almost no options) I found the little booklet that comes with the car in that little suede folder.

Then at the register some employee guy that was hovering around, Picked it up and looked through it and found the original title of the car! Lol.

They took the title, But i got the rest of the paperwork.
The hovering guy was like Hey! How much you offering for the whole car?! I was interested... But the manager shut him down on it.

Also found a Manual passenger side sideview mirror!... Or so i thought... I pull the  out and its not attached to anything... Had been clipped and replaced with a non-functional electric sideview mirror. :punchballs:

Awesome, Have Fun Vin!
This was probably one of my last trips to the yard for awhile, At least until i really need something.
The weather is getting really ugly around here, Not too mention the 'Yard has been burning a hole in my pocket. :hick:

I forgot to mention i also picked up "A" Hella fog light, The other one looked like someone hit it with a bat. :punchballs:

My tripminder is on the blink so if you could snag one that would be awesome so I could swap the innards out. I suspect mine has a bad solder connection somewhere because it straightens out for a little while when I tap it. I could also use a driver's side 87-88 non-TC dew wipe (chrome trim).
