How many of you have not carried it, but lifted it as if it was on hinges?????????????
It's different to lift it on hinges than it is to carry it.
I've done both and you guys are right, on it's own it's not bad but when trying to open it and suspend it without the spring support assist is quite a different story.

For your car audio #1 upgrade is port the rear deck. Do you wanna leave all your bass rattling your truck or you wanna let it out for a nice overall clean sound. And next add something to stop the bass rattle so therefore nothing gets in the way off messing up all the money you might spend on wanting something that is loud and clear.

Also heres a idea where you might be able to build a box not sure how big you need to build one and if you don't need a huge box you can have hide away storage aswell.

Thank you

only downside to the box for the subs is its not ported and if i redo it i will get a 1100-1200 watt amp and 2 MA audio 8s that are 400RMS and than 800 MAX and get a bigger box and port it.

And i should get a new CD player soon so it will sound even better. either a better poineer or a alpine.

I promise with my set-up with the cd deck turned up to 9-14 sounds cleaner and better than most and my EQ still is sliding around and cutting out stuff sometimes.....the place that did all work is closed down so i am trying to find someone else to build me a new box and order me the subs i want ETC. Also with it turned up to like 3 or 4 you can still hear it over my car at redline with no cats and the windows down.
