87 tc with 351 and c4

This is my 87 tc i bought for $300. I painted and swapped in a 351 with a c4 transmission. I still have a lot to do but I am almost to the point of being able to drive it. Still need to run new exhaust and wire in some gauges and do some odds and ins stuff. I am on the look out for some 4 lug draglites or stars. which do you think will look better stars or draglites. I want 15x4 on front and 15x8 or 9 on the back with some big drag radials.

my goal is to have the same stance with ride height and wheel and tire package as 83-88t-bird guy car with the 325/50/15 tires on his car. I don't think i will go with 325's but i will probably go with 295's

Beautiful car!! If you've got a 351 in it, you probably want to let everyone know your car isn't stock by swapping out the wheels too. Personally, I haven't seen a set of wheels I like better than the original flakes. Having said that, there are some nice looking options out there. Not as many choices as the five lug guys have, but there are some nice four lugs available. Either wheel you mentioned would look sharp on your car. Whatever you go with, good luck, and post pics!!

what size are your wheels and backspacing? What size rear tires? What rear suspension setup do u have? Is your car lowered and if so what did you use?

I love your car that is the exact setup I am looking for. I am still undecided on draglites or pro stars. The car will mainly be used at the dragstrip but I am still going to drive on the street sometimes.

Hi, Glad to see you like my Bird, I'm happy with how it came out.

I bought these wheels back in 92 or 93. They're 14 x 7 and I don't know if this is the back spacing or lug pattern, 4 1/4. I actually have the original sales slip. My tires are P225/60R14. I'm planning to get new wheels eventually, I'm thinking 17's this time. I have lowered it, I got lucky and found a Ford Motorsport spring kit. M-5300-E. Mine doesn't sit level though, the rear is lower than the front but I like it.

I have alot of pics. on my cardomain site if you want to check it out. I also have a list of things I've done to it on there.
