Excessive oil in a/f hsg August 13, 2007, 04:39:03 PM Car is a 87 with the 3.8. Changed the air filter today on the old bird and noticed what appears to be some oil collecting in the housing. The filter was dirty but as I drive the car alot in some not so nice roads I change it every few months regardless. It didnt appear any dirtier than usuall but never noticed oil before.
