Lambo Doors on a 4 Eye?

Not to the best of my knowledge. I don't think it would work to well think about how heavy our doors are. I do remember reading about some thing like this over at tccoa.

A friend of mine has them (or something like them) on his Suburban They look pretty cool, just like it shows, doors open UP. His (not sure if it's these exact ones) open out about 30% of the way to clear the body then go Up and will hold themselves there. I see your from Washington, If your ever near Vancouver you can see it most any weekday on Mill plane at Solar Eclipse Window Tinting. If it's not raining the the sub is outside and the doors open

If you think about doing that to your 4-eye, I will drive over under the cover of darkness and take the car from you....

I've seen them on an 87-88 style bird with a fairly conservative body kit.  There was a lever that actually had to be flipped so the door would go vertical.  If you didnt flip that lever, it would just open like normal.  Those lambo doors can get very annoying very quick on something thats driven a lot.  Of course, he had fiberglass doors and lightweight hardware on it, and the hinge itself was EXTREEMLY beefy.  It looked pretty good though.

Not that i'd ever do it to my TC ;)

Do it up and show us lots of pics. Then you better stash that car away or at least keep it hidden from Chuck!

those particualr lambo doors are pretty much universal b/c they are a weld in modification.  my old roomate had some and got pissed after pending i think 600 dollars only to find out he cant weld them and it'd be over 4 grand a door.  if you wanna try and find some blot on lambos, you'll eventually end up tightening the bolts every other day b/c remember how heavy these doors are?  (parts prolly benn posted before.)

People keep saying that!
I would like to know what the actual comparison is between these doors and any other 2 door car. (Including even a lamdo door.)
I’m thinking what, 10-20 pounds different, so what?
Want a heavy door? Lift one off of a mid 70’s 2 door say a full power Caddy or MontiCarlo or even T-Bird. I don’t believe as far as 2 doors go ours are all that much heavier than the average. And these kits were designed to lift AT LEAST the average. What ya think they were meant for 4 door cars or something?

You guys are wack and just like saying “remember how heavy these doors are”!

Ummm No I don’t remember, I forgot, remind me please!

Get the Kit and a welder and go for it! Would be way cool.

Im gonna have to go buy that wrecked 4 eyed bird, tub it out and put lambo doors on it...Chuck wont find it though..and it'll have some nice big tires and a nice big engine, so it wont be too bad.
