Help me ID a few trannies. (big pics) July 13, 2007, 03:34:35 PM First one is a tremec my dad got cheap at a swap meet some time back. Guy said it came from a wrecked cobra. Its a 5 speed. T45? 4.6 32v bell? Ignore the shifter. I just threw that on there so I could shift it.(click the pics)Then theres a pair of Borg warner T10's that he might want to sell. He thinks the shorter one is from a midsize car like a fairlane and then the longer one is from a fullsize, like a galaxie.Any ideas? Quote Selected

They were used in the Mustang Cobra, but only for one year, 2001.They are more commonly found in Mustang GT's 2001 to current.The longer one should be for a 1962-64 full-size Ford/Mercury.As for the shorter one, I can't tell you, but mid-size Ford would be my guess as well.Brent Quote Selected
